Trenton Municipal Utilities has announced plans to shut off water in a portion of Trenton on Thursday for the installation of new valves.

Water will be off at 9 a.m. for four hours to allow the valves to be installed in the area of Crowder Road. Areas affected include Crowder Road, from Cedar to Merrill; Merrill Street, from Crowder Road to 15th Street; and 15th Street, from Merrill to Carnes.
As a result of the work, a boil water advisory will also be issued for residents in that area, beginning at 9 a.m. The advisory will last until 3 p.m. on Friday, unless reissued.
