Ed Moore, a 91-year-old resident of Trenton died on Friday, Sept, 28, 2007 at the Cameron Regional Hospital. He was a former Jamesport resident.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 1, 2007 at the United Methodist Church, Jamesport. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery at Jamesport.
Mr. Moore was born on Oct.16, 1915 in Melverne, KS, the son of Laverne William and Aselea Porter Moore.
He was married on Oct. 11, 1936 in St. Joseph to Alma Edith Moore, who preceded him in death on July 16, 1998.
He had worked as a farmer and construction worker and had transported the Amish for 28 years.
He is survived by two daughters, Dorothy TenHulzen of Brimson, and Jeanette Bryan of Jamesport; a sister-in-law, Elsie Reggenitter of Atalissa, IA; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren; and longtime friends, Helen and Garland Lewis.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dale E. Moore; two daughters, Evelyn M. Warner and Barbara Bush; a grandson, Melvin Bush; two brothers, Johnie and Lavern; and two sisters, Marie and Jennie Lee.
