The Missouri Department of Conservation and the Livingston County Short Grass Chapter of Quail Forever will hold a free youth quail workshop on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to noon at Setter Ridge Farm, located on Route U in Livingston County.

All youth must be accompanied by an adult. Youth must be hunter education-certified or accompanied by a hunter education-certified adult. Topics and activities will include quail biology, a quail habitat walk, quail hunting safety, clay pigeon shooting and a working bird dog demonstration. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all attendees.
