Frank Benton Lindsey, an 85-year-old Trenton resident, died at 1:35 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007 at his residence in Trenton.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, 2007 at the Jamesport Masonic Cemetery in Jamesport.
Open visitation will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007 at Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mr. Lindsey was born March 12, 1922 in Trenton, the son of Bert A. and Lulu Grace Gildow Lindsey. He graduated from Trenton High School and attended classes in mechanics before moving to San Diego, CA. During World War II, he worked for Consolidated, assembling the B20 aircraft. After the war, he worked as a toll collector on a ferry and on the Coronada Bridge. He returned to Trenton after retiring in 1987.
Mr. Lindsey is survived by two sisters, Armina Lindsey and Wilma Doolin of Trenton; three nieces, Donna Farmer of La Mesa, CA, Wilma Ann Moore and her husband, Ronnie of Chillicothe, and Judy Laur and her husband, Fred of New Cambria; and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Wade and John, and a niece.
