Raymond D. Boyd, a 60-year-old resident of Overland Park, KS, died on Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at his home.

Raymond Boyd
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007 at the First Baptist Church at 100 W. Red Bridge Road in Kansas City. A family remembrance celebration will follow the service.
Mr. Boyd was born on Sept. 28, 1946 in Phoenix, AZ. He spent his childhood in Trenton and later lived in the Kansas City area for over 40 years. He had been an insurance adjuster for Nixon and Co. for over 20 years. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the St. Andrews Golf Club and the First Baptist Church of Kansas City.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sandy Boyd; two sons, Keith Boyd of Chicago, IL and Kevin Boyd of Topeka, KS; and an older brother, Roger Boyd of Arizona.
The family suggests memorials to the donor’s choice, the American Cancer Society or the Kansas City Hospice.
