Judge Jack Peace
Jeremy Brown, 28, 100 Callihan St., Galt, had imposition of his sentence suspended and was placed on probation for five years on a charge of statutory rape, to which he had earlier pleaded guilty. As a special condition of his probation he is to serve 28 days shock time in jail, including two weeks in 2007 and two weeks in 2008.
David Briegel, 53, Spickard, had his probation revoked on an original charge of non-support and was ordered to serve four years in the Department of Corrections. The case was heard by Judge Andrew Krohn after Judge Peace had recused himself.
Division II
Judge Steven D. Hudson
Rachel A. Buss, 31, 1502 Nichols St., pleaded guilty to speeding and not wearing a seat belt and was fined $32.50, $10 and $58.50 costs.
Susan Mullany, 426 N.E. Onyx Ln., had 10 counts of passing bad checks dismissed.
