The Tri-County R-7 Board of Education met Wednesday, approving health insurance coverage and amending the school calendar.
According to information provided by the district, the board voted to renew its coverage with American Community Health through August 2008. The board also agreed to amend the school calendar to reflect that were will be no classes on Oct. 26 to allow for a professional development activity. The day missed will be added to the end of the school year, making May 22 the last day of classes for the 2007-2008 school year.
An executive session was held, with no announcement made. The next regular meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 11.
