Harold Franklin Stout, an 81-year-old resident of Jamesport, died on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007 at the United Methodist Church in Jamesport. Burial will be in the Pilot Grove #1 Cemetery at Gilman City, under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany.
A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at the church.
Mr. Stout was born on Sept. 20, 1925 near Lock Springs, the son of Arthur and Pearl Wickizer Stout.
He was married in Jamesport on Dec. 12, 1950 to Rosemary Landes, who survives of the home.
Mr. Stout served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He had farmed in the Jamesport area all of his life and was involved in the agriculture activities. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Jamesport and the VFW. He served on the Tri-County School Board and the Farmers Mutual Insurance Board.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Steve Stout of Jamesport; a daughter, Nancy Manring of Albany; and six grandchildren, MacKenzie, Marissa, Mairnee, Kaitlyn, Megan and Michael.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
