Donald Ray Morris, a 57-year-old resident of Mammoth Springs, AR, died on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007 at the Shady Oaks Health Care Center in Thayer, where he had been under hospice care.

The body was cremated. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Mammoth Springs and in Trenton, under the direction of the Lindley Funeral Home at Chillicothe.
Mr. Morris was born on Nov. 20, 1949 in Trenton, the son of Raymond Ashford and Marie Ellen Rosson Terhune.
He is survived by his mother, Marie E. Terhune of Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton; his step-father, John C. Terhune of the VA Home in Cameron; a sister, Dottie E. Cox and her husband, H.L. “Bud” of Trenton; an uncle and two aunts, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Morris of Trenton and Mrs. Ruth Morris of Chillicothe; several cousins, including William D. “Bill” and Jenny Stevens, Millie A. Hutchison, Kathy Pilcher and Barbara Stith; a step-brother, Johnny Terhune and his wife, Janet; and a step-sister, Ruth Ann Taylor and her husband, Larry.
He was preceded in death by his father.
