Jerry L. Harvey, a 65-year-old resident of 17 Northeast Mica Lane at Trenton, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton. Pastor James Lawley will officiate. After the service, the body will be donated to medical science.
General visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, 2007 at the funeral home.
Mr. Harvey was born on April 24, 1942 in Dunlap, the son of Earl and Florence Shelton Harvey. He attended Herbert rural schools. He was a resident of Grundy County all his life. He worked for Trenton Foods and then was a self-employed truck driver. He was veteran of the Vietnam Era.
He was a member of Honey Creek Chapel Christian Church, northeast of Trenton.
He was married at Trenton on Aug. 28, 1966 to Sharon Arnote, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by two daughters, Kimberly Kay Harvey Wendel and her husband, Karl, of Elgin, OK and Brenda Lee Harvey and her husband, Robert Blozvich, of Trenton; two sisters, Mary Harvey of Trenton and Hazel Hobbs and her husband, Cecil, of Trenton; one brother-in-law, Roy Brown of Trenton; five grandchildren, Mackenzie Harvey, Trace Blozvich, Ivy Blozvich, Kane Wendel and Kegyn Wendel; four step-grandchildren, Jadde Robert Blozvich, Clorissa Blozvich, Kristopher Wendel and Alexander Wendel; and one foster granddaughter, Katherine Fletcher.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Maxine Brown; and two nephews Robbie Jackson and Randy Jackson.
Memorial are suggested to the Wright Memorial Hospice. They may be left at the funeral home.
