Judge Jack Peace
Joseph A. Kincaid, 22, Missouri Department of Corrections, pleaded guilty to second degree assault and was sentenced to serve three years in the Department of Corrections, with the sentence to run concurrently with the one being served.
Division II
Judge Steven D. Hudson
Kyle Graves, 127 N.E. 70th Ave., had a charge of passing bad checks dismissed.
Pleading guilty to not wearing a seat belt and fined $10 were James E. Baker, Jr., 41, 2000 Mable St., and Margaret E. Warren, 65, Laredo.
Bobbie A. Oxner, 32, 1905 Carnes St., pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license and was fined $27.50 and $58.50 costs.
Small Claims
Donald Moore d/b/a Moore Farm Supply vs. Jimmy Wendt. The case, which involved non-payment for merchandise, was dismissed.
Hy-Vee Food Store vs. David Burton. A default judgment was entered in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $97.38 plus interest. The case involved non-payment for groceries.
Henson Chiropractic Clinic vs. Cheryl Dorris. A default judgment was entered in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $533. The case involved non-payment for services.
Associate Civil
Wells Fargo vs. Michael R. and Wendy Jones, John Doe and Jane Doe. The court dismissed the case against all defendants except Michael R. Jones. A consent judgment was entered in which the defendant will turn over the premises within 15 days. The case involved unlawful detainer.
Saint Luke’s of Kansas City vs. Bill D. Pilmore. A consent jury was entered in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $30,778.14, with execution stayed for 30 days. The case involved a suit on account.
CACH LLC vs. Patti L. Whitham. The court entered a judgment in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $3,743.54, with interest to continue at 23.99 interest. The defendant is to pay $100 per month for three months in order to have a stay of execution.
