Road Closings Announced

The Grundy County Road and Bridge Department has announced the closing of two roads next week so that bridges can be replaced.

Beginning on Monday, Sept. 10, Crowder Road, just off old Highway 6, will be closed to replace the Slough Bridge. Also closed will be Northeast 126th Street, east of Spickard, to replace a bridge that crosses Muddy Creek.
Both roads will be closed until further notice.
