Harrison County authorities have released the identity of a woman whose body was found near Blythedale on Monday.

The body of 23-year-old Julie Johnson of Bethany was found just off the roadway on Highway “T” three miles north of Blythedale. Harrison County Sheriff George Martz said preliminary findings point to a self-inflicted gunshot wound as the cause of death.
