Tina Gibson Holt has been selected to be the grand marshal for the 2007 Spickard Fall Festival parade.

The theme of this year’s parade is “Sports in Spickard,” and Mrs. Holt’s accomplishments in the field of basketball make her a perfect choice for this honor.
Her career in the sports field began when she played basketball while attending elementary school in Spickard and high school in Princeton. Earlier this year she was inducted in the North Central Missouri College Athletic Hall of Fame for many achievements while a playing for the Lady Pirates basketball team.
She is in her fifth year as girls basketball coach at Gilman City High School.
Mrs. Gibson, her husband, Michael, and children, Talan and Esabel, live in Spickard along with her parents, Terry and Mary Gibson.
