Kevin R. Nickell, a 45-year-old resident of Lineville, IA, died on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007 at Valley, NE.

Funeral services will be held a 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 31, 2007 at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel in Lineville. Rev. David Shriver will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Lineville.
Open visitation begins at 9 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, where a family visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Nickell was born on April 22, 1962 in North Kansas City, the son of John Lester “Jay” and Dorothy Mae Lawyer Nickell. He lived his early childhood in the Kansas City area and moved with his family to a farm south of Clio, IA in July 1975. He is a 1981 graduate of Lineville-Clio High School, where he played baseball. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid arrowhead rock and mushroom hunter.
He worked much of his life as a truck driver, delivering mail and was also the builder and former co-owner of the Steel Wheel Saloon in Lineville.
He is survived by a daughter, Sylvia Nickell of Lineville; his mother, Dorothy Nickell of Lineville; four brothers, Mike Nickell and his wife, Dana, of Smithville, Kenny Nickell and his wife, Karla, of Clio, David Nickell and his wife, Jennie, of Lineville and his twin, Keith Nickell of Lineville; one sister, Dana Widner and her husband, Gregg, of Mercer; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Dennis Nickell.
