Robert Joseph “Robby” Lee, a 37-year-old resident of Rock Port, died on Friday, Aug. 24, 2007 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in St. Joseph.

Memorial services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 27, 2007 at the United Methodist Church in Rock Port. Burial was in the Greenhill Cemetery at Rock Port.
Mr. Lee was born on July 21, 1970 in Chillicothe, the son of Ronald and Evelyn Romesburg Lee. He attended numerous St. Joseph area grade school, graduating in 1988 from Mid-Buchanan High School. He graduated from Mid-America Nazarene University at Olathe, KS with a degree in management information technology.
He was married on July 15, 1991 in Rock Port to Theresa Lininger. They made their home in Agency and he was associated with the St. Joseph Public Schools, the Liberty Public Schools and the Ft. Osage School District in Independence as manager of educational information technology.
The couple moved to Rock Port in 2002 while he commuted to Omaha, NE and was employed by MECA, the managing organization for the Quest Center. He started a data center in Rock Port in 2003, joining with the Rock Port Telephone Company and co-founding Midwest Data Center.
He was active in the Rock Port community, serving as a member of the Rock Port Fire Department, the Rock Port Optimist Club, the Rotary Club and coached Little League Baseball. He was a cub scout master and for many years attended Camp Geiger, where he was tapped into the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He attended the Rock Port Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife Theresa, and two sons, Colton and Dylan, of the home at Rock Port; his mother and step-father, Evelyn Romesburg and Gary Stout of St. Joseph; two brothers, Jeff Brill of Agency and Tyler Stout of St. Joseph; two nephews, Riley Brill and Jordan Brill of Agency; one niece, Alanis Allen of Liberty; a half-brother, Matthew Lee of Trenton; a half-sister, Jamie Lee Girres and her husband, Mike, of Trenton; his stepmother, Alice Albers of Trenton; his father, Ron Lee, and his wife, Gloria, of Orangelake, FL; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Romesburg of St. Joseph; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Chris Romesburg; and his paternal grandparents, Ross an Josephine Lee.
Memorials are suggested to the Colton and Dylan Lee Education Fund.
Services were under the direction of Minter Funeral Chapel in Rock Port.
