Janice L. Bain, a 59-year-old resident of 2501 Harris Ave. in Trenton, died on Saturday morning, Aug. 25, 2007 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton. Betty Jo Polley will officiate. Burial will be in the Rural Dale Cemetery, east of Trenton.
There is no scheduled family visitation. Open visitation is under way at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bain was born on July 6, 1948 in Kansas City, the daughter of Herman Leslie and Sarah McGuire Dunkin Jr. She attended Davenport, IA, Elementary School and graduated in 1966 from Laredo High School. She owned and operated Bain Computerized Service of Trenton for about 18 years. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Davenport.
She was married at Gallatin on May 2, 1988 to Billie Joe Bain, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are one daughter, Robyn Michelle Hayden and her husband, Michael, of Jamesport; her mother, Sara Elder of Brimson; one sister, Jeri Roberts and her husband, Wesley, of Trenton; one brother, John Dunkin and his wife, Connie, of Cedar Rapids, IA; one sister-in-law, Norma Allen and her husband, Charles, of Brimson; and one brother-in-law, Jack Bain and his wife, Marilyn, of Trenton.
She was preceded in death by her father and one infant son.
Memorials are requested for the Wright Memorial Hospice. They may be left at the funeral home.
