Recorded over the last four year’s in the couple’s Pittsburg studio, it is a collection of 14 songs written by Arbuckle. Mrs. Arbuckle sings lead and background vocals and Arbuckle plays all the instruments – guitars, bass, drums, mandolin and keyboards – and also sings lead and background.
The music on “Overdue” is described by CDBaby.com as “An eclectic combination of 1970s classic rock and traditional folk sounds with an occasional hint of Ozark hillbilly flavor. Melodic, heartfelt original songs with rich vocal harmonies.” The style has been compared to Crosby, Stills and Nash, Linda Ronstadt and the Ozark Mountain Daredevils.
Arbuckle is the son of Dorothy Arbuckle of Trenton and the late Junior Arbuckle, a well-known guitar player in the Trenton area. Mrs. Arbuckle is the daughter of former residents David and Oreta Tanquary of Overland Park, KS.
The CD is available on line at http://cdbaby.com/cd/msarbuckle or it can be downloaded on the Apple I-Tunes online music store. There is a cost for both.
