Trenton High School’s last undefeated football team, the 1966 THS Bulldogs, will hold a 40th reunion during the THS alumni activities over the Labor Day weekend.
Members of the team will gather at 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31 at the team hospitality tent, which will be located inside the C.F. Russell Stadium complex

Coach Dewey Combs and Coach Craig Campbell will be in attendance along with several members of the team, which finished the 1966 season with a record of 10-0. The team will then participate in the Trenton Quarterback Club tailgate party at Eastside Park before heading to C.F. Russell Stadium to attend the THS-Lexington game as a group at 7 p.m. The team will be seated in the end zone and coaches Combs and Campbell will be introduced prior to the game.
Following the contest, members of the team will gather at the Elks Lodge and invite anyone who ever played any sport for coaches Combs and Campbell to come by for a visit. The team is also planning a breakfast at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1 at the Lakeview Restaurant.
