Classes start on Wednesday in the Trenton R-9 School District and the bus routes for the 2007-2008 year have been set. The bus route list appears on page 11 of Monday’s Republican-Times.

There are a few changes to the schedules this year, according to Hill Transportation Co. Those riding from Leisure Lake and Edinburg are riding different buses, with riders from Leisure Lake on Bus 10 and riders from Edinburg on Bus 16. Those who ride home on Bus 16 and are Rissler Elementary students will need to ride Bus 8 to the high school to meet Bus 16. This change was made to save the school district on fuel costs as these two routes overlap over a number of miles.
The bus company is reminding riders to be at their bus stop in the mornings a few minutes early each day. If there are any questions about the routes or if students living in rural areas won’t be riding a bus in the mornings, persons can call the bus barn at 359-5165.
