The tax rate ceiling is $.3790, but after a sales tax rollback, the proposed tax rate is $.1823 on the $100 assessed valuation. At that rate, the county would bring in $188,000 in revenue if 100 percent of the tax is collected.
The county’s current assessed valuation is $103,365,674, an increase from $97,756,797 last year.
