Pieper Family Partnership, LP, vs. Dolan Land Co., Inc., and Terry Dolan. Consent judgement entered in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $60,000. The case involved a breach of contract.
Division II
Judge Steven D. Hudson
Dustin McPherson, 27, 501 Monroe St., pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle on the highway while his driver’s license was revoked for points as well as another count of driving while revoked for failure to submit to a chemical test. He was sentenced to 10 days in the Grundy County Jail on each charge with the sentences to run concurrently and he is to prepay $30 per day for room and board. He also pleaded guilty to second degree property damage and leaving the scene of an accident. He was given a suspended sentence of ten days in jail on each charge and placed on probation for one year. He is to pay court costs of $114.50 and restitution of $750. Charges of operating a motor vehicle owned by another knowing the owner has not maintained financial responsibility and abandoning a motor vehicle or trailer were dismissed.
Rex Winters, 37, 509 Monroe, waived his preliminary hearing on a charge of possessing chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance and was bound over to Division I for trial-setting on Aug. 16.
Timothy Harding, 23, 1100 Laclede St., waived his preliminary hearing on a charge of second degree assault and was bound over to Division I for trial-setting on Aug. 16.
Bradley Bredensteiner, 36, Wentzville, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $22.50 and $56.50 costs.
The following cases were heard by Senior Judge Thomas Pickett:
Emily Steinman, 23, Martinsville, pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to second degree endangering the welfare of a child. Her sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for two years and ordered to attend parenting class. She is to pay costs of $104.50 and $10 to the Crime Victims Compensation Fund.
Caleb Ingraham, 26, 1712 Carnes, pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. He was given a sentence of 30 days in jail on each charge to run concurrently and given credit for 29 days served. He is to pay $104.50 costs and $10 to the CVCF.
Dirk Erp, 45, 430 N. Highway 65, had his cases certified to Division I for trial-setting on Aug. 16. He is charged with two charges of driving while intoxicated, persistent offender; operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner; failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and failure to wear a seat belt.
Mac Rakes, 49, 676 NE 18th Ave., pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to misusing 911 and resisting arrest. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail on each count, given credit for time served, and released.
Justin Hamilton, 22, 67 NW 60th St., pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to driving while intoxicated. His sentence was suspended and he was placed on two years probation and ordered to attend the Drive to Survive program. He is to pay $104.50 costs, $10 to the CVCF and $300 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund. A charge of supplying intoxicating liquor to a minor was dismissed.
Cathy Orndorff, 28, 120 Highland, pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to second degree endangering the welfare of a child. She was sentenced to serve 58 days in jail and given credit for having served 55 days.
Lora Hynson, 38, 1206 Lake Trenton Dr., pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to driving while her license was revoked. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail and given credit for having served 18 days.
Michael Washburn, 29, Spickard, pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to an amended charge of no valid operator’s license. He was fined $250, $104.50 costs, and $10 to the CVCF. The original charge was driving a motor vehicle while his driver’s license was revoked. Charges of not maintaining financial responsibility and no seat belt were dismissed.
Jeffery Foster, 20 , Spickard, pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to an amended charge of no valid operator’s license. He was fined $250, $104.50 costs, and $10 to the CVCF. The original charge was driving a motor vehicle while his driver’s license was revoked.
Bessie Sawyer, 55, Galt, pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to operating a motor vehicle on the highway in an intoxicated condition. Her sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for two years and ordered to perform 40 hours of community service and attend the Drive to Survive program. She is also to pay costs of $104.50 and $10 to the CVCF. She also pleaded guilty to operating an all-terrain vehicle without a proper safety flag and was fined $27.50 and $56.50 costs. A charge of careless and imprudent driving was dismissed.
Jeremy Lea, 18, Galt, and Kristyne Israel, 17, Spickard, both pleaded to guilty to careless and imprudent driving and were fined $37.50 and $56.60 costs.
Larry Stubbs, 64, Butler, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition and was fined $600, $104.50 costs, and $10 to the CVCF. He is to also pay $117.50 in recoupment of funds. A charge of failure to drive on the right half of the roadway was dismissed.
Pamela Lovett, 48, Moberly, pleaded guilty to violation of a protection order and was fined $150, $104.50 costs and $10 to the CVCF.
David Dowell, 43, 802 E. 22nd St., had three charges of non-support dismissed.
Charles Moore, 31, Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to failure to show proof of valid insurance and was sentenced to serve seven days in jail. He was given credit for time served and released.
Herbert Worsley, 57, 71108 Caron Dr., pleaded guilty, pursuant to a plea agreement, to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. His sentence was suspended and he was placed on two years probation and ordered to perform 40 hours of community service and attend the Drive to Survive program. He is also to pay costs of $104.50 and $10 to the CVCF. He also pleaded guilty to failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and was fined $27.50 and $56.50 costs.
Michael Wilson, 20, 1850 E. 8th St., had his case bound over to Division I for trial-setting on Aug. 16. He is charged with second degree burglary and violation of a child protection order.
