Patricia J. “Pat” Betz, a 66-year-old resident of 1014 Vine St. in Chillicothe, died on Sunday, afternoon Aug. 12, 2007 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton with Rick Felzien officiating. The body will be cremated after the service.
Family visitation will be held at funeral home on Wednesday from 10 to 10:30 a.m.
Mrs. Betz was born on Dec. 20, 1940 in Marysville, PA. She attended Barryville, AR schools. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
She was married in 1962 to Jim Dunkin, who preceded her in death.
She was married on July 14, 1990 at Trenton to Leon Betz, who survives of the home.
She is also survived by one son, Donnie Dunkin of Trenton; three step-daughters, Betty Betz of Chillicothe, Robin Powell of Trenton and Shelly Betz of the state of Virginia; one step-son, Buddy Betz of Trenton; three grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a son, Danny Hopton.
The family suggests memorials to the Pat J. Betz Memorial Fund. They may be left at the funeral home.
