Linda Kay McLaughlin, a 56-year-old resident of Laredo, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 13, 2007 at the Lindley Funeral Home at Laredo. A family visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007 at the funeral home. General visitation will be held from noon until 9 p.m. on Sunday and from 8 a.m. until service time on Monday.
Burial will be in the Rural Dale Cemetery near Laredo.
Ms. McLaughlin was born June 5, 1951 in Trenton, the daughter of Wilbur “Owen” and Lois M. McLain McLaughlin.
Ms. McLaughlin was a life-long Laredo resident and was a 1970 graduate of Meadville High School. She had worked in the dietary department at Livingston Manor in Chillicothe for 15 years and had been a cook’s assistant at Lakeview Restaurant in Trenton since 1997. She loved bingo and was an RSVP volunteer.
Ms. McLaughlin was a member of the Laredo Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Stacy Muessig and her husband, John of Altamont; two brothers, Ronald L. McLaughlin of Laredo and Ralph E. McLauglin of Smithville; a sister, JoAnne Seward of Laredo; and three grandsons, Steven, Tyler and Jacob Muessig of Altamont.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Ray McLaughlin.
