Funeral services for Coda Baugher will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007 at the Half Rock Baptist Church at Half Rock.

Rev. Guy Olin Thomas will officate. Burial will be in the Half Rock Cemetery following military graveside rites.
A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 o’clock tonight (Monday, Aug. 13, 2007) at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mr. Baugher, a resident of Trenton, died at 5:57 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Mr. Baugher was born on Aug. 11, 1924 in Spickard, the son of William “Willy” and Cloya E. Cunningham Baugher. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was married on March 22, 1947 at Princeton to Ruby Ilene Corbin, who survives. He was a lifelong farmer and breeder of champion Angus cattle. He was a member of the Half Rock Baptist Church for 55 years, serving as treasurer of the church for 20 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Shirley Baugher and her husband, Enrique Colmenares Mayoral, of Bowling Green, OH and Sharon Nickell and her husband, Jason, of Galt; a son, Larry Baugher and his wife, Linda, of Trenton; a sister, Hazel Ginter of Overland Park, KS; two grandchildren, Jamie Eckert and Blake Baugher; and two great-grandchildren, Darian and Quentin Eckert.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Baugher; and two sisters, Doris Jackson and an infant sister.
