Îale Warren Toot, an 85-year-old resident of Texarkana, TX, died on Friday, Aug. 3, 2007 in Texarkana.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007 at the Thayer Cemetery in Thayer. Erman Croney officiated. Burial was in the Thayer Cemetery under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home at Thayer.
Mr. Toot was born on Sept. 7, 1921 at Laredo, the son of Claude and Edna Ingraham Toot. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II. He was a retired retail grocery merchant. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was married in 1941 at Trenton to Florence Losey, who preceded him in death. He was married on Aug. 5, 1950 at Salem, AR to Clyda Faye Tyree, who preceded him in death on Dec. 27, 2006.
He is survived by one daughter, Lonna Moore, and her friend, David DeVaul, of Chillicothe; two step-grandsons, Bob Moore of Amazonia and Bill Moore of Trenton; and other relatives and friends.
