Laurie “Dee” Brinkley, a 41-year-old Chillicothe resident, died on Sunday, July 29, 2007 at the Heartland Hospital in St. Joseph.

The body was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007 at the Payne Funeral Home of Galt. Rev. Tim Munday will officiate. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
Ms. Brinkley was born on Nov. 27, 1965 in Milan, the daughter of Raymond and Martha Ann Meeker Brinkley.
She is survived by one daughter, Katrena Habben of Des Moines, IA; two sons, Shane Kempton of Cameron and Michael Gale of Chillicothe; her mother, Martha Leasor of Nevada, MO; one brother, Jeff Brinkley of Trenton; three grandchildren, Hailey, Christian and Torrie; and her companion, Tracy Bennett of Chillicothe.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and father.
