The Missouri Department of Conservation will be holding a duck decoy carving workshop from 6- to 9 p.m. on Sept. 4 and 5 at the Jerry Litton Agri-Service Center on Highway 190 in Chillicothe.
At the workshop, intended for persons ages 10-and-over, department staff will guide persons through the steps of creating their very own cork duck decoy.

Cork, heads, hardware and paint will be provided. Persons attending will need to bring a wood rasp or Sur-Form tool, sand paper and a shop apron (if desired).
