Eulavea Gardner, an 86-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2007 at the Lindley Funeral Home in Laredo. Burial will be in the Alpha Cemetery near Laredo.
There is no scheduled family visitation. General visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2007 and after 8 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gardner was born on Dec. 19, 1920 in Livingston County, the daughter of James W. and Emma Bell Ishmael Moore. She was married on Dec. 7, 1983 in Miami, OK to George Gardner, who preceded her in death on Aug. 27, 1990.
She spent most of her life in Grundy County except for 32 years when she had lived in the Ozarks. She was a homemaker and also worked at the Galt Canning Factory, the Chillicothe Glove Factory and several restaurants. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and caring for others. She was a member of the High Prairie Christian Church at Buffalo. She moved back to Trenton in 1998 to be near her family.
She is survived by one step-son, Mike Gardner and his wife, Nancy, of Chillicothe; one step-daughter, Shirley Heffner of Fenton, MI: a sister, Helen Tolle of Trenton; one grandson, Jacob Gardner of Springfield; five step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; six brothers, Harley, Bill, Arthur, Carless, Charles and Chester Moore; and two sisters, Catherine Simpson and Cordia McClintick.
