Alonzo Clinkenbeard, an 87-year-old former Unionville resident, died at his home in Kirksville on Thursday, July 5, 2007.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2007 at the Playle-Jones Family Funeral Home in Unionville. Burial was in the Thompson Cemetery at Unionville.
He is survived by his wife, Iris, of the home; two sons, Tom Clinkenbeard of Winston, IL and Ron Clinkenbeard of Oregon; four daughters, Rosemary Winkleman and Janice Sue Richardson of Kirksville, Diane Snead of Kahoka and Alona Peters of Plainville, IL; one brother, George Clinkenbeard of Unionville; two sisters, Mae Smith and Grace Cullum of Unionville; 21 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
