Robert LeRoy Wagner, a 71-year-old resident of Kansas City, died on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at the North Kansas City Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2007 at the Mt. Moriah Terrace Park in Kansas City. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the funeral home.
Mr. Wagner was born and raised in Spickard, the son of Orville and Esther Cornwell Wagner. He graduated from Spickard High School.
He served in the Army two years, stationed in Germany. After 37 years working as a carpenter in the Local 61 Union, he pursued his love of cars, Harley’s, snowmobiling and travel. He began Wheeler Motors used cars in Claycomo in 1979. He was a member of the Tower View Baptist Church for 20 years and was a current member of the McMurry Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lois Jean Wagner; two children and their families, a son, Robin Wagner and his wife, Gina, a daughter, Wende Wagner; two grandchildren, Lindsey and Weston Wagner; a sister, Bea Nellenbrugh; a nephew, Stanley Harrington; and a special friend, Ted Sturm.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
