The Laredo R-7 Board of Education accepted the resignations of the school secretary and a board member during a special meeting Tuesday.

According to information provided by Administrator Jean Dustman, the board accepted the resignation of Toni Boone of school secretary/bookkeeper and school board secretary. The resignation of Mona Loyd, a board member and board treasurer, was also accepted. The board then held an executive session and voted to offer a contract for the secretary/bookkeeper position and voted to have Phil Fox, a board member, serve as board treasurer.
The next regular board meeting is scheduled for July 9.
