Bantam League boys, Little League girls and both boys and girls Pee Wee league teams were in action Thursday night in Trenton.

The Trenton True Blues took the field at Griffin for Little League girls’ action. They faced off with Milan B and put 10 runs on the board, which was enough to carry them to a 10-7 victory.
Right next door, Bantam League teams were in action at Johnson Field. The first of two games featured the Thunder squaring off against the Royals. In one of the closest games of the night, the Royals edged the Thunder by a score of 15-14. In game two, the Athletics and Yankees played each other. The Athletics rattled the bats all game long and pulled away down the stretch for a 27-6 win.
Over at the fields at Moberly Park, Pee Wee Leaguers were in action. In girls play, the Orange Blossoms and Diamond Divas faced off in game one. The Diamond Divas were able to get key hits at the right times to take a 7-3 win. Game two saw the Lemon Drops and Hot Pink play. The Lemon Drops were able to keep their hot streak going as they downed Hot Pink 15-8.
Up the hill at Upper Moberly Field, a pair of Pee Wee boys games took place. The Gators took on the Cardinals in game one. In an exciting finish, the Gators pulled out the win by a score of 8-7. Game two saw the Gators win yet again, this time beating the Blues by a score of 15-5.
