The Mercer County Fair is scheduled for July 10-14, with livestock shows, coronation of royalty and evening entertainment planned.

Tuesday, July 10
Open class exhibits can be entered from 5 to 6 p.m., with 4-H Conference judging scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Judging of open class exhibits will be held following the conference judging.
Wednesday, July 11
Rabbits and chickens can be registered beginning at 10 a.m., with the rabbit and chicken show set for 11 a.m. The coronation of fair royalty will occur at 5:30 p.m. and a baby show will be held at the lower grounds beginning at 6 p.m. Swine can be checked in beginning at 6 p.m., with the swine show scheduled for 7 p.m. The Missouri-sanctioned pedal pull will also be held at 7 p.m. at the lower grounds and the Nolan Band will perform at the arena at the same time.
Thursday, July 12
Registration for the sheep/goat show will get under way from 8 to 9 a.m., with the show scheduled for 10 a.m. Those planning to participate in the talent show may register from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and performances will begin at 7 p.m. The Team Farmer event will also be held at 7 p.m. at the arena.
Friday, July 13
Friday is Premium Standard Farms Day at the fair, with beef show registration being held from 8 to 9 a.m. and the show getting under way at 10 a.m. An SBSMRA-sanctioned side by side mud run is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Saturday, July 14
Horse show registration will be held from 8 to 9 a.m., with the show starting at 10 a.m. Registration for the pet show is from 9 to 9:30 a.m. and that show will get under way at 10 a.m. Evening entertainment includes a 4-H ice cream social at 5 p.m., followed by a youth livestock auction at 6 p.m. A draft horse pull is scheduled for 7 p.m.
