Daughter Earns Medical Degree

Audrey Marie Williams was one of 222 medical students receiving a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences during exercises on Sunday, May 20 in Kansas City.

Dr. Williams is the daughter of Robert and Dena Williams of Humphreys and Keith and Anita Gilmore of Appleton City. A 1999 graduate of Appleton City High School, she received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Truman State University in Kirksville in 2003. Following graduation, she will complete a postdoctoral residency in family medicine at Cox Medical Center in Springfield.
