The Business Management Department at NCMC is offering a new course called International Business. Students may take this course or Ecology (Life Sciences Department) this fall and in the spring a trip abroad will be offered to our students.
International travel gives the students an opportunity to discover exciting cities and unique sites. They will also be able to explore different ecosystems including rain forests, steaming volcanoes and palm-lined beaches. They will taste foods they never thought they would try and experience local traditions firsthand. This will allow NCMC students to experience what they have read about in their books and give them experience in our global world.
EF Educational Tours is the first and only international travel organization to be accredited by the Commission on International and Trans-regional Accreditation, so the tour will definitely enhance the education of the students.
Each year the International Business students will have the opportunity to travel to a different place in the world. During spring break 2008 the International Business Class at NCMC will travel to Costa Rica.
