Lucille M. Keith, a 90-year-old resident of Spickard, died on Monday morning, June 11, 2007 at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the Spickard United Methodist Church in Spickard. Bro. Gregg Ratliff will officiate. Burial will be in the Spickard Masonic Cemetery at Spickard.
A family visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Keith was born on dec. 15, 1916 in Flowler, KS, the daughter of Cecil Leonard and Mabel Hamilton Morrison. She graduated in 1935 from Spickard High school and was a lifelong resident of Spickard.
She was employed by the Green Hills Community Action Agency of Trenton before her retirement. She was a member of the Spickard United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women’s Group and the SHE Club, all of Spickard.
She was married on April 4, 1937 at Spickard to John Earl Keith, who preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1989.
She is survived by one son, Cecil E. Keith of Spickard; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Larry Nolan Keith; one sister, Delores Keith; and one brother, Woodson Morrison.
The family suggests memorials to the Spickard United Methodist Church. They may be left at the Slater Funeral Home at Trenton.
