An evening fund-raiser is scheduled at the Grundy County Senior Center on Saturday, June 9.

The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with cow chip bingo, which will be held north of the senior center building. Bingo tickets can be purchased for $10 from board members or the administrator and ticketholders need not be present to win.
A western hoedown dance will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the center and will include a western dress contest with prizes for best-dressed lady, best-dressed man and best-dressed child. Old-fashioned square dancing and oldies music will be featured and a concession stand will be available.
