Hickman Player Joins NCMC

The North Central Missouri College Pirate basketball squad has landed a recruit from Columbia.
Byron Bundy is a senior at Hickman High School in Columbia and is the son of Nancy Bundy and Ron Tooley. The 6-4 guard was a member of the Hickman Kewpies, where he was named an all-district shooting guard in 2006 and 2007 as well as all-area honors this past ear.

Bundy averaged 14 points per game during his senior season in addition to 4 four rebounds and two assists per game. Bundy would like to one day play Division 1 level basketball after leading NCMC to a championship.
A wide receiver on the football squad, Bundy also received honors as an all-district selection in 2005-2006. An honor student at Hickman High School, hereceived the “I Can” award for marketing excellence.
“Byron is an extraordinary basketball player and overall outstanding athlete,” Coach Steve Richman said. “He will make an immediate impact on our program. His experience playing 5A basketball at the largest high school in Missouri will have him ready to compete on the college level. Not only will Byron bring athleticism to our program, he is a great individual and a strong student academically.”
