THS was chosen as the runner-up for the Best Use of a National Program as a Membership Recruitment, Retention and Recognition Activity for the 2006-2007 school year. As a runner-up, the program will be posted on the FCCLA national website for advisers and members to review and the chapter advisor, Connie Hoffman, will have her name appear on the screen at the 2007 National Leadership meeting in Anaheim, CA.
This is the first time the THS chapter has been recognized for a chapter program on the national level, although the chapter has received several state awards.
