Todd D. Burkeybile, s 31-year-old resident of Spickard, died on Saturday morning May 19, 2007, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at the Spickard Christian Church with Bro. Duane Campbell and Bro. David Binkley officiating. Burial will be in Half Rock Cemetery.
Family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 Wise and Slater Funeral Chapel in Spickard.
Mr. Burkeybile was born on April 9, 1976 in Trenton, the son of Gary and Mary Coe Burkeybile. He graduated from Princeton High School in1994. He was employed by Premium Standard Farms of Princeton as a barn manager. He was a member of Spickard Christian Church in Spickard. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, being with friends and family and his two little sons.
He was married at Princeton on March 20, 2006 to Paula Virtue, who survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Lane Burkeybile and Sammy Burkeybile, both of the home in Spickard; his parents, Gary and Mary Burkeybile of Mill Grove,; one sister, Erin Coin of Harris; one brother, Scott Burkeybile of Des Moines, IA; his grandmother, Leona Kemp of Trenton; five aunts, Kay Dinsmore and her husband, Roy Dale, of Mill Grove, Pat McKinney of Princeton, Alice Gibson of Bethany, Marsha Smith and her husband, Eddie of Winston, and Leola Davis of Trenton; one uncle, Leroy Burkeybile and his wife, Jessie, of Spickard; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glen and Phyllis Virtue, of Princeton; two sisters-in-law, Michelle Harrington and her husband, Dennis, of Princeton and Amie McReynolds of Mercer; one brother-in-law, Eric Virtue of the state of Iowa; four nieces, Kelsie Wilson of Harris, Dolores and Breanna Harrington of Princeton and Kaylie McReynolds of Mercer; and two nephews, Hunter Coin of Harris and Logan McReynolds of Mercer.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oren and Leona Burkeybile; and his grandfathers, John Coe and Sam Kemp.
The family suggests memorials for an education fund for his two sons, Lane and Sammy Burkeybile.
