Ralph Stokes, a 54-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Thursday morning, May 17, 2007 at his home.
The body was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2007 at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton.
Mr. Stokes was born on March 28, 1953 in Trenton, the son of Rafael Manuel Sr and Robert Alice Osborn Stokes. He graduated from Trenton High School, He worked as a handyman most of his life and especially enjoyed woodworking.
Mr. Stokes is survived by one daughter, Ladonna Stokes of Kansas City; one son, Daniel Stokes of Trenton; and a cousin, Connie Ball of Trenton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Eileen Lucas.
