Frank A. “Peck” Gibson, a 79-year-old resident of Gilman City, died on Monday, May 7, 2007.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial will be in Springer Chapel Cemetery at Gilman City.
A family visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home, where general visitation will begin at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2007.
Mr Gibson was born on July 5, 1927, the son of James Roy and Bertha Amanda Shepard Gibson.
He was married in Trenton on Jan. 18, 1952, to Carole Lowe, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by three sons, Jim Gibson and his wife, Dawn of Blue Springs, Dan Gibson and his wife, Zelma, of Gilman City and Jack Gibson and his wife, Debbie, of Plattsburg; one daughter, Joyce Best and her husband, Morrie, of Bethany; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Vada and Ioma; and two brothers, Emerson and Norman.
