Grundy County Collect-or/Treasurer Colleen Kidd recently attended the Missouri County Collectors Association Annual Training and Trade Expo in Jefferson City.

Mrs. Kidd was one of 22 ex-officio collectors at the event, including 16 new collectors recently elected. While at the conference April 23-26, Mrs. Kidd took part in sessions involving mortgage issues, the Sunshine Law, sexual harassment, Chapter 13 bankruptcy, the County Employee Retirement Fund and issues involving the absorption of township collector duties by county collectors. She also served on the association’s audit committee. The event concluded with a banquet at the Jefferson City Country Club.
The 20-hour training meets the statutory training requirements of RSMO 52.269.
