THS Golf In Cameron

The Trenton High School golf team was in action Friday afternoon at the Cameron Veteran’s Memorial Golf Course for the Cameron Invitational.
Trenton finished second in the 17-team tournament, shooting a team score of 310. The 310 mark was 14 strokes off the 296 mark by the tournament-winning Cameron Dragons.

Trenton was led by Logan Wyant, who shot a team-low 74, which tied him for fifth overall in the tournament.
Just a stroke off was Trenton’s Tyler Brinkley, who shot a 75. Brinkley finished tied for 10th on the day.
Trenton was also aided by Evan Fries, who shot a 78, and Jim Weaver and Ethan Bunnell, who each shot an 83.
All five Trenton golfers finished in the top half of the field, which was led by Cameron’s Daniel O’Connor, who shot a tournament-low 69.
The Trenton golf team will be in action again today in Chillicothe.
