John Cecil Hogan, a 72-year-old Polo resident, died on Sunday, April 15, 2007, at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at the Prairie Ridge Cemetery in Polo. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bram Funeral Home of Hamilton.
There is no scheduled family visitation.
Mr. Hogan was born on June 28, 1934 in Rothville, the son of Cecil Jerome and Sara Edith Miller Hogan. He had lived in Polo most of his life and was a self-employed farmer and truck driver.
On July 4, 1953, he was married in Polo to Betty Keith, who survives of the home.
Mr. Hogan was a member of the United Methodist Church of Polo.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, David Hogan and his wife, Belinda of Trenton; a daughter, Sue Linam and her husband, John of Parkville; a sister, Eloise Morgan of Polo; two grandchildren, Christopher Pat Hogan and Kellie Lyn Byrd; a great-grandchild, Logan Byrd; and a friend, Laurine Stone of Richmond.
Memorials are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
