Art Linkletter and Bill Cosby both hosted television programs with this title. Trenton Acting Guild veteran Susan Provance will play the host in the college production to be held April 20 and 21 in the Hoover Theater. Because of an actor’s scheduling conflict, Pleasant View R-6 third grader Vivian Probst will play one of the children on Friday night.
Ms. Provance graduated from Trenton Junior College in 1970 and is returning to share her talents in the spring production. She has appeared in dozens of Trenton Acting Guild shows. Among her favorite plays were “Run for Your Wife”, “Noises Off”, “I Remember Mama”, “Arsenic and Old Lace” and “Harvey.” Ms. Provance teaches kindergarten at Rissler Elementary School in Trenton and so is very familiar with the “darndest things” that kids say.
Vivian Probst is making her stage debut in this show. She is the granddaughter of Mike Draughn and the late Jean Ann Draughn. The nine-year old enjoys singing, shopping, and playing with her dog, Gracie.
The two-act comedy will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Play tickets are available at Ketcham Community Center Play tickets are free to Grundy County Friends of the Arts season ticketsholders and NCMC students with college ID. Play tickets are $8 for everyone else. Everyone will need a play ticket. Seating is limited and reserved.
