Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association All-State Basketball Team

Four area players are among those receiving All-State basketball honors by the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association.
Senior Kyle Larson of Grundy R-5, senior Austin Hague of Mercer and sophomore K.J. Cool of Newtown-Harris were all selected to the Class 1 boys second team while Toni Brundage, a senior at Mercer, was named to the Class 1 girls second team. The Newtown-Harris boys also finished sixth in the final Class 1 poll.
