The Trenton Sesquicentennial Merchandise Committee would like to remind interested persons that supplies of all memorabilia items are limited, including items being sold to fund events that will take place between now and July 4 and to give persons keepsakes for the future.

However, the committee plans to have no inventory at the completion of the July 4 events. The one item that will be ordered after the events is the “Welcome Home to Trenton” DVD movie that is being produced by Buddy and Karla Hannaford. It will include footage of historical Trenton, the 1957 Centennial, current day Trenton and highlights of events from the 150th celebration. The cost of the DVD movie is $50 and order forms are available at the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce office.
The committee has run out of latte mugs and is running quite low on other items, including plates, key chains and bullet pencils. Items should be purchased as soon as possible at the Chamber office to assure persons get the items they want. Overall funds do not permit large inventories on hand after the events for last-minute shoppers.
Those items still available for purchase include the “Welcome Home to Trenton” music CD for $10, plates for $30, bullet pencils for $2, Christmas bulbs for $7, tee shirts for $10 and $12 each, water bottles for $6, coins for $6, key chains for $6.50, wooden nickels for $1 each, caps for $10 each, calendars for $10 and saddle raffle tickets for $5 each or 5 for $20. Persons may still order Grundy County History books for $102.33, which includes sales tax.
Persons with questions about events or merchandise may call Terri Henderson at the chamber office, 660-359-4324.
