Rissler Art Show/Book Fair
“Catch the Reading Wave” is the theme of the book fair, which will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Monday, March 12, through Thursday, March 15, and from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 16. The books will be located in the Rissler Library and proceeds from the event will be used for library activities, such as sponsoring author visits and participating in the Children’s Literature Festival.
While browsing through the books, visitors are encouraged to take a moment to marvel at the artwork of the Rissler Elementary students. Each student will display one of his or her fabulous works of art around the school for the Rissler Art Show.
Susan Ward is the Rissler librarian and Katy Matheny is the Rissler art instructor.
